Tad is a watercolorist, printmaker and birder. He is a longtime member and board member of Desert Artisan’s cooperative art gallery and currently is the manager at Sarnoff Art and Writing.
Hiking and birding in the American West gives me the inspiration for my art. The sense of discovery on a new trail, or the awe of glimpsing a native bird in its natural habitat is what I try to express in my watercolors and etchings. Not one to smear my anxieties all over a piece of canvas, my art is intended to bring you to my “happy place,” those times and places where I am most content and alive. As an instructor, I’m patient, student-focused, and generous with instruction.
