Enrollment
Students are accepted into classes on a first-come, first-served basis. Most classes are suitable for all skill levels (unless otherwise indicated) but you are welcome to call us if you have specific questions about whether a class might suit you. You may register for classes online, over the phone, and in person. If a class has filled you may call us to be added to the waiting list or wait list online, which is a first-come, first-served basis.

Unfortunately, The Drawing Studio is unable to prorate students for missed classes or classes that they are unable to attend.

Class Schedule Changes

The Drawing Studio reserves the right to change the class schedule as necessary, though we make every effort to avoid this. Students will be notified of any changes with as much advance notice as possible, and accommodations will be made for refunds or Drawing Studio credit based on cancellation policy.

Class Supply Lists

Supply lists are available online. Class titles are hyperlinked to display the full course description including the supply list. If you have questions regarding supplies, or where to find the supply list on the website, please contact us.

Waiting Lists

Early registration is strongly encouraged, as many classes and workshops fill quickly. If a workshop or class is full, interested students may sign up on a waiting list. No registration fee or deposit is required to be on the waiting list. Students are notified of opening in the order they sign up on the waiting list. When students are notified of openings, they must pay the registration fee or they will lose their place on the list.

Student Drop/Withdrawal Policy

Students withdrawing two or more weeks in advance of the class start date will receive a full refund or Drawing Studio credit, minus a $15 change fee. Students withdrawing between two weeks and 24 hours of the class start date may request a 50% refund or full Drawing Studio credit, minus a $15 change fee. No refund or credit will be given 24 hours or less before a class begins. Class credits are valid for 1 year.

Class Cancellation Policy

Classes with insufficient enrollment 3-5 days prior to the start day will be canceled. If this occurs, registered students will be contacted and allowed to transfer to another class or be refunded the full course tuition and any additional fees. All refunds are sent via check to the student’s address on file. Early registration is strongly encouraged.
