Beauty of the Beast call for entries: a juried exhibition looking at artworks in any style and medium, that reflect the theme of beauty in animals. Entry deadline December 31. Hummingbird House (Newest Northwest location) Open House: Saturday, December 14, 2013, Noon-4pm. Free “Try-It” event! Tour the studios and grounds, try out mini-class samplers of upcoming offerings, browse class schedule and register on-site, meet the chickens! Save the Dates: “A Breath of Plein Air” 2014 Gala Fundraiser Event. January 24, 6:30 – 9:30pm. TDS’ annual event that supports our educational and outreach programming. Many Gala Events will be filling out the program, including a plein air panel discussion; Andy Rush talk on painting San Carlos, Gala Preview, and of course, the event itself.
