Metal Arts Village (Studio “e”): New Satellite. An artist village with up to 12 different art studios, 3230 North Dodge Blvd (at Fort Lowell). You are invited to visit every full moon for Open Studios, including next Friday, February 14, 5-8 pm. Starting February 19 at MAV: Intermediate Oil Painting, and February 20: Introduction to Oil Painting, both with Betina Fink. There is one spot available in each class.


Dawn Emerson Workshop: “Rethinking Pastels from the Bottom Up” (at the Main Studio): March 28 – 30. Join TDS and renowned guest artist Dawn Emerson for this inspiring 3-day workshop. Portrait Painting in Watercolor: begins 2/14 with Judy Nakari. Capture the essence of a person in watercolor, while expanding your painting and figurative skills.


Getting Art Done: Stop thinking about it, and just do it! This peer facilitated group meets on Wednesdays beginning February 19, and offers the artist a workbook format and more, to help one produce more work.
