It’s not too late this spring to enjoy a class at The Drawing Studio. Quench your thirst for art. In this post, watch for classes beginning the first half of May, and the Art of Summer youth and teen program Open House on May 18.
Color Fundamentals: 6 week courses holding the key to learning all about color layering, mixing and composing. Especially valuable for those transitioning from Drawing Fundamentals. This course can be repeated as often as desired. Above pencil rendering by Betina Fink, who will teach Color Fundamentals, Pencil/Level 1 at Casas Satellite starting 5/13; Starting 5/8: Deb Steinberg teaches Color Fundamentals, Pastel/Level 1 at Metal Arts Village.
Art of Summer Open House is May 18, 2-4 pm, at the Main Studio.
Find out why the Art of Summer is the most unique youth and teen summertime studio immersion program in the Southwest. Tour the studio, meet some of the teaching artists, and register for classes. Bring your favorite young artist, aged 9-18. For more information contact Tanya Rich, Youth Manager, at Youth@TheDrawingStudio.org.
